We spent Labor Day in Palmdale, as we do most every year. The weather was surprisingly pleasant and when I say pleasant I mean your eyeballs didn’t melt every time you stepped out of whatever air conditioned space you had been occupying. We watched movies and spent time with family. Spencer and I did homework. Guy finally struck up the courage to ask my dad to drive his convertible (please note we have been together for over 5 1/2 years) so we went for a drive with the top down sans baby. We ate some pretty amazing barbecue, so good in fact that I almost didn’t miss all the joys of various forms of dairy (mainly cheese). Guy and I even got to go on a lunch date, which we spent most of gorging ourselves on Chinese food and talking about Harper. I even called to check on her even though we were only gone for a little over two hours (gross right?) Speaking of the little bundle of joy (and poop) I’m pretty sure Harper didn’t get put down for the entire weekend and it feels good to know so many people love our little Munch.
