Last Friday, Friday the 13th *cue lightening strike and thunder clap*, Guy and I celebrated being married for five years; that five year mark has us hurtling towards the ten years together mark which just seems, well nuts, to me considering neither of us has even been on the planet for three decades yet. Usually these posts are full of old and really embarrassing photos from our youth and total smoopy-ness but I’ve already done that four other times. We went on a road trip up the coast of California and in the coming days I’ll be posting a lot of photos, stories, and reviews of the places where we ate and played, so our anniversary will be replayed in detail over the next couple of weeks. For now, let it suffice to say there is no one who could love me like Guy does. His sense of adventure and humor still shock, amuse, and make me crazy on a daily basis.
Likewise, this blog is now officially a kindergartner. I actually started Deleting the Adjectives while we were on our honeymoon in Europe. I still remember sitting in our hotel in Rome getting the blog all set up and starting fresh. Since then, I have blogged here fairly consistently, especially since Harper was born in 2010. To celebrate my happy marriage and my fifth blogoversary, I’m giving away 5 boxes of off-season Girl Scout Cookies to one lucky winner.
* Flavors are subject to availability. Cookies containing chocolate are likely to melt in the mail. Neither Rachel Brandt Fisher nor Girl Scouts are liable for any harm caused by said cookies including those caused by food allergies. Please read the nutrition label before consuming. Giveaway is open to residents of the 48 continental United States.
** No, we don’t drink Bud. Those were just the glasses at the bar we were at.
