How do you visualize your family in five years? More babies? Possible names for future babies yet?
More baby fingers and baby toes in our future? I sure hope so. I always wanted a big family (ie: like four kids) but I’m not sure we could afford more than two to be honest. I’ll hopefully have a real job and maybe we’ll have bought a house instead of jumping around from rental to rental. As far as names go, Guy and I have a hard time deciding on anything we both adore. In fact, I think Harper was the single solitary girls name we both loved. If Harper had been a boy she probably would have been Henry (nickname Indy) although we did throw Lincoln around for a while before we found out Le Guppy is a girl. We are also considering adoption as a way to add to our family in the future. We’ve always said we’d like to have one (if possible) and adopt one.

What’s next on the epic list?
I think learn to drive is next on the list. We only have one car so I just never had a real reason to learn but now that I am stuck in the house with the baby all day and not working I’m dying to get out and do stuff. My goal is to have it by January 1st, 2011 but preferably before that.
What’s your favorite thing to cook/bake?
I am an awful cook and even worse baker to be perfectly honest so I really like crockpot recipes that you can just throw in and forget until you are ready to eat.
If you could get any tattoo what would it be?
There are two that are realistically in the works right now. The first one I am getting is the longitude and latitude of the following places: The hospital I was born, the Eiffel tower and the hospital where Harper was born. The second is Max from Where the Wild Things Are.

Have you ever visited Canada before?
I have been to Vancouver when I was a freshman in college and loved it. When the baby is older we plan on taking a road trip up to Victoria to see Orcas in the wild. Generally speaking Canada is living the American dream without all the violence.
What do you think of the Obama’s ideas on health care?
I wish it was really more of a health care reform than an insurance reform but I think it’s a step in the right direction and has brought a lot of much needed attention to the issues we have in this country regarding basic human rights and needs. Something has to been done about the outrageous issues with how the health care operates in America.
If you could live a day in the life of someone real or fictional, who would it be and why?
My brother. I think I could really learn a lot by looking at the world from his perspective for twenty-four hours, like how to be a better person.
