I am a list person. Nothing motivates me more than scratching something off a list. The first thing I do every morning is write do what I need to do for the day and my house is covered in technicolor post-its with mini-lists.
As organized as I am, I am also a dreamer, by both nature and upbringing, but as I have gotten older I’ve realized that dreaming isn’t enough. You have to work hard and ignore anyone who deems you silly or naive. And that’s what I try to do everyday.
This is not my first 101 in 1001. I’ve done this once before when I was in college. I didn’t see it through to the end and that has always bothered me but it did spur active thinking and exploration. This time I intend to keep it in the forefront of my mind. The rules are simple. 101 tasks to complete in 1001 days. They must be measurable and achievable but also require some work on my part. This is my list.
